Patios & paths · Garden walls
Stonework that makes the yard livable.
Patios, paths and walls are where a yard turns into a place to spend time.
Hardscaping
What we build:
- Sod lawns
- Driveway edging
- Garden paths
- Paver patios
- Gravel beds
Planning a path
Think about who walks it.
A path to the back gate that gets daily use should be wide enough for two people and a wheelbarrow. A path through the beds can be narrower and softer underfoot.
Straight lines suit formal gardens and short trips. A gentle curve slows people down and lets them see the plantings along the way.
Slopes matter too. On a steep grade we add low steps or a switchback so the path stays safe in wet weather.
Garden walls
More than a border.
A wall can screen a patio from the street, hold back a slope or turn a flat yard into two levels.
Built at the right height, a wall doubles as seating around a fire pit or as the side of a raised planting bed.
We help you pick the stone, block or timber that suits your house, and we build the footing to last.
