How we work
A system designed around your house and your budget.
When a system needs replacing, we start with the house: its size, its windows, its insulation and the way you use it. Then we design the most efficient setup that fits what you want to spend.
We would rather do a job right than do it cheap, and we tell you up front which is which.
Most of our work comes from neighbors who have called us before, so we keep our overhead lean and our prices honest.
Martin Hale, founder
"Treat every house like it's your own."
Martin Hale learned the trade bending sheet metal in his uncle's shop, then spent years running service calls for other outfits. He started Ironwood with one van, a set of gauges and a simple rule: work in every house as if you lived there.
Ironwood is still a family business. Martin's daughter runs the office, and most of the crew learned the job from him. They take the time to listen, lay out the options in plain words and never sell a bigger system than the house needs.
