Rest on a quiet lane
The inn stands on a short, shaded street with almost no traffic. Take a chair on the porch, read in the parlor by the fire, or walk to the village green and back before supper.
About the inn
High Wheel Inn is a quiet bed and breakfast, restored room by room and run by two innkeepers who live on the property.
Morning to evening
The inn stands on a short, shaded street with almost no traffic. Take a chair on the porch, read in the parlor by the fire, or walk to the village green and back before supper.
Each morning we serve a hot breakfast with fresh bread, preserves and fruit from the market, either in the dining room or on the porch. Linen, china and good coffee, and plenty of time to linger over them.
Every afternoon from four to five, tea, biscuits, cheese and local cider are set out in the front parlor.
The kind of place you tell your friends about and then hope they never book your weekend.
